Winter wonderland.

I wish everyone in the world could come see our apartment.

I think it's so adorable. I'm sure it pales in comparison to some peoples homes at christmas but for college students, I think it's pretty awesome.

The pictures really don't do it justice but I'm putting some up anyway. Just so you have an idea of what you are missing out on.

Sometimes we just turn on the lights in the middle of the day, sit on the couch, and smile and stare in awe at the beauty of our living room. That probably makes us sound retarded but seriously it's the best feeling ever.

I can't help but walk into my living room and smile.

We spent about a total of 4 hours on christmas. Cutting out snowflakes is time consuming! And then tapping and tying dental floss to everything takes a lot of patience. But seriously the end results are worth it. I never want christmas to come cause I don't want to take it down.

I'm not joking this stuff is amazing. Especially the fruit. Oh and they have freeze dried ice cream sandwiches. I don't know about you guys but when there are bombs going off outside my house or raging winds from a tornado I'm going to enjoy sitting in my basement eating ice cream sandwiches.

TMNT

I have a friend that knows how much I love to paint my nails and always like doing different designs. So he sent me a sweet picture of some teenage mutant ninja turtle nails. I recreated them the best I could. Later I found some sweeter pictures of TMNT nails that I'd do opposed to the ones I did...if I ever do it again

Then yesterday I was helping a friend make a collage when this guy was like Uhmm what's on your nails. I told him TMNT and his reply? YOU ARE MY SOUL MATE. My email address from grade 7 and to this day is john0467_TMNT...(I totally made up the first part cause I forget what it really was. The only thing that matters in this story is TMNT anyway)

Anyways looks like my nails may have brought me somebody to love.

He then asked if he could take a picture of my nails cause he just had to show his brother.

I feel famous.

NAILS

It comes as no surprise to many of you that I love to paint my nails. I love buying nail polish. I would be perfectly happy if all I got for gifts this year was different colors of nail polish. that is how much I love it. I love finding people that share the same joy and I love creating different ways to do my nails. Since I change them on regular basis I decided I'd take pictures and blog about them. So here is one nail design for this week. (sorry I'm not the best hand model either)

This is HALLOWEEN

So in general I'm not much of a halloween person. I don't usually dress up or go to the parties. But I wanted to get into the halloween spirit somehow and I did it how I know best. I painted my nails. :)
