I've been working on this painting for about 2 months and would love to have it finished before I go to school in september. I just don't know if it's possible considering all I managed to do in july was the tree...not really a good sign. But we'll see how it goes.

What news..?

There's a motto in my family that goes like this " No news is good news" Short and simple. We never call when we leave for vacation cause we just assume that if we haven't heard from one another everything is okay. I always like this motto until recently. Now I think it's worse to hear nothing at all then to hear something. Cause once you hear, even if it's terrible news at least you can stop wondering.

fetish

I have an insane fetish with nail polish. I think I need to own every color ever made. Its almost the only reason I go to the make up section, to find my new perfect shade of nail polish. You'd think with over 40 colors I'd have enough perfect shades but I always want more. I probably paint my nails 2-3 times a week. If it weren't such a hassle I'd do it every day. I LOVE NAIL POLISH!

Isn't it beautiful? They live in a shoe box cause I ran out of room in a normal make up bag. Everytime I get a new color a small piece of my soul is filled.

Also as a small side note. I really dislike it when people I don't know and are from a different country comment on my blog. It's usually in a different language or in the form of a proverb. Both of which I don't understand. Just saying.

Today I may have made the greatest decision of my life. I'm quitting at extra. After making said decision my shoulders felt so much lighter. Life is feeling fabulous again.

It's one of those nights where I'm exhausted but sleep is evading me. So I decided to blog about my recent conquer.

I'm the proud owner of a "D" pin. I'm not quite sure what the "D" stands for on my pin. I would like to think it's something like, definitely the best worker at extra foods, but I think it just stands for duty...BORING. Anyway, a customer recognized me for the service I provided for her so they gave me this nifty little pin. Apparently there are ABandC pins. I'm on my way to gaining them all I can feel it. This is only the beginning. Take that extra foods and those who manage it who act like I'm lazy and do nothing. I don't see you sporting a "D" pin. :)

canada schmanada

Dear Canada. I love you, no matter how much the americans might bash you. They are just jealous that you have so much delicious food like poutines, nanaimos bars, chocolate puffed wheat squares and perogies. We've also got an assortment of better tasting chocoloate bars like-caramilks, coffee crisps, crunchie's, smarties and aero bars. They are also jealous that we have free health care. We also are home to some of their favorite stars. Were would we be without sultry pamela anderson, or funny man jim carey? The radio would be dull without celine dion, avril lavigne, nickelback or JUSTIN BIEBER to rock out to. Americans are just jealous that you are better, and always will be.

My tribute to canada was having a canadian colored waffle. I made the waffle kind of red (it was more pink but it's all about the thought) then topped it was bananas, strawberries and whip cream. If it'd been a thinker I'd have made it into a canadian flag but i was too hungry.
