2nd trimester

Fist pump to the 2nd trimester. I loved it. No more feeling nauseous and I have energy again!

Cravings- Salty and sweet. For the first few weeks of my 2nd trimester, y mouth literally watered when I thought about eating salt and vinager chips or a pickle. Towards the end it was something sweet and cold. We went thru a lot of watermelon, grapes, apples, smoothies and ice cream.
First Movement- week 17, sitting in church. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to feel much baby movement, because my Dr. always had a hard time finding the heart beat, so he thought the placenta was in the front. But it sure wasn't. I feel this little guy all day long! So much more then with Sienna, which makes me nervous this baby will not sleep as much as she did...
One time I ate some chips and salsa and did that ever get baby moving! I was only about 19 weeks along, but we could feel him moving all over. I think it made him do back flips. Matt hadn't been able to feel him much before that so it was nice that he moved so much then.
Worst parts about being pregnant- back and hip pain and sleeping positions. Sometimes I have a hard time breathing on my side. So then I have to be on my back, but then that can make it hard to breathe. I can't win! But once I am alseep I am good. And maybe because he is nestled so deep into my hips and back I get all the pain before I even start to show.
Best part about being pregnant- Feeling the baby move hands down. I love falling asleep with my hands on my stomach and feeling him move around. I love when Matt gets to feel the baby. It just makes it more real.

And I think Matt and I just make small babies. My uterus is measuring 2 cms smaller then what it should typically be and people didn't think I looked pregnant until I was about 26 weèks. People often tell me they just forget I am even pregnant since I don't look it. I can't wait for my little bump to pop out. I miss having a place to rest my hands.

I feel like this is an incredibly small update, but there just isn't very many pregnancy symptoms going on. Maybe I just don't notice them because I am busy with Sienna. I feel like I am rarely sitting still, whereas when I was pregnant with Sienna all I did was watch One Tree Hill and crochet my days away.

Family Summer Fun

We had a real treat this year. The whole Beazer clan was in Cardston at the same time. I can't remember the last time this actually happened. There always seems to be someone missing. It was so busy, crazy, and extremly fun. Sienna was a little weary at first of all the people, especially young kids who just want to carry her around, or give her love ALL the time. But she eventually warmed up and began to not want to be with me and just wanted to follow the kids where ever they went. It was so cute to watch.

I wish I would've taken more pictures of all we did. That's the down fall of not having a cell phone. Unlike an actual camera, I would probably have that with me all the time. So here are just a few pictures and a video of some of the things we did.

We have a gender.

We are so excited to announce that we are having a baby BOY. I think finding out it was boy was the best thing that has happened to Matt since I said yes I would marry him. Matt wanted to surprise me with the gender so the ultrasound tech took him out of the room to tell him what it was. When he came back in there were little tears in his eyes. My thoughts were "those are tears because he is so happy we are having a boy or so happy because he gets another sweet girl." Matt would say that if it was a gir,l those tears were because he was so upset.
I kind of thought it was a boy from the beginning but I thought that with Sienna so I was prepared to hear it was a girl again. The only things that made me think it was a boy was that I literally craved salty foods. I never experienced cravings with Sienna, so I didn't think they were legit. Now I am a believer. And the Chinese calendar said I would be having a boy. Other then that I don't really experience any other wives tale gender predictions. My skin stays the same, my hair stays the same, I sleep on the same side I always do, etc.

Best part of having a boy: The Termeer name lives on. Matt is the only boy and his dad was the only boy so we are so happy to have at least one boy too!

Worst part of having a boy: starting over in the baby department. I tried to get some gender neutral things with Sienna but let's be real, you have to dress your girl in cute girl things. So I guess I get to go on a shopping spree!

We wanted to do something fun for my family to tell them the gender since they were all coming up to Canada about a week after I found out. One of my friends that is due a month before did a pinata and I thought that was such a fun idea and would be something my nieces and nephews would enjoy and could be a part of. We made ourselves a pinata and filled it with blue candies.
The kids had a great time hitting it and I think liked eating the candy even more! I kind of forgot to get a picture when it was first hit open, so the kids digging in was the best I got.

I hope this picture is an indicator of him being a baby that just likes to curl up in a ball and cuddle.

Bet you have missed this face

Something has been severely lacking from my blog as of late. Pictures of Sienna! I know, you are all probably dying to see what this little cutie has been up to. Word update is that Sienna started walking at about 14 months. I love seeing her little body waddle around. She loves to try and walk with about 3 stuffed animals in her hands and is having a great time exploring!

She has been unimpressed with dad's fishing. Which I thought was pretty great, but it takes more to impress her.

Drinking from mustard bottles because who doesn't love doing that? She didn't stand a chance in not liking mustard since both mom and dad love it.

She can have some pretty wild hair. Especailly after a day in pigtails.

While I was in Arizona, Matt kept Sienna so I could just enjoy myself. So naturally they had to take some cute pictures together to prove how much fun they were having without me.

Grandma Termeer came for a visit and Sienna had so much fun with her.Sienna even started wanting Grandma more then she wanted me or Matt! Everyday they would look for "friends" outside the window. They went on many walks together and played outside on a blanket. We also took Grandma to Waterton where we hiked Bears hump and went to Cameron Falls.  We can't wait for her to come back for a visit.

After Grandma left they had to resort to skype talks. Sienna LOVES it when Grandma pretends to be Elmo. Seriously look at that smile.
Grumpy Grandma face

This picture made my feel like I no longer had a little baby. She can hold a cup and drink from a straw all on her own! Clearly she doesn't need my help anymore.

This is the life! Just lounging around on a blanket, catching some rays, drinking some nice cold milk.

Bedtime stories with daddy.

Golfing with Nana and Grampy. She loved throwing the golf balls from the cart.
Hiking in Waterton. We did Blakiston Falls and then played in the FREEZING cold water of Red Rock Canyon

She loves playing in her pool and she loves going down slides. So you put both of them together and you have a very happy baby!

Birthday!

I hit the big 2-6 this weekend. Matt always makes sure I have a good birthday and tries to plan surprises. The surprise this year was getting me a juicer which was a big suprise since we hadn't ever really talked about getting one, but we enjoyed using it that day to make fresh carrot and apple juice. My parents took Sienna for part of the day so we could go for a hike in Waterton. We love hiking together and this was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Afterwards we go the BEST calzones from pearl's cafe. They are a must have if you are ever in Waterton. In the evening my family came over and we had Oreo blizzard cake and played games. Such a perfect day!
Birthday wake up calling. 4 cute boys calling to wish me happy birthday.

The most perfect and delicious calzone.

Linham Falls with my handsome hubby. Wish we could do something like this every weekend!
